Savannah, Georgia’s Azalea Inn & Villas is now offering Private Cooking Classes by Chef Tim Rutherford for small groups. Get your girlfriends together and enjoy a lovely evening of good food, wine, and education!
Chef Tim Rutherford grew up in rural Kentucky – then left home to pursue more than three decades as a photojournalist and newsman. A ground-breaking meal in New Orleans in 1979 set him on a path exploring the people and places that make food and drink special.
He consults in the food and beverage industry on food safety, menu development and event marketing. Tim has written about wine for Connect Savannah, Savannah Morning News, Savannah Magazine and Publix’ The Grape. He contributes regularly to magazines ranging from Food Network magazine to Delta Sky. He has appeared on Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, NPR and Martha Stewart Radio. He is a regular contributor to the UK-based website Chowzter.
In his spare time, Tim teaches cooking and conducts consumer education programs on food and drink. He and his wife, T.J., a psychotherapist, live in Chatham County with their two Chihuahuas.
Call the Inn to discuss your groups specific needs, we’ll make sure it’s a great time for all!
