Enjoy a Savannah Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is a time to be with the ones you love, enjoying delicious food, wonderful wine, and yummy desserts! But, preparing and cooking such a big meal is hard work. Before you know it, you’re spending all your time in the kitchen and zero time with your loved ones. So, this year, make your Thanksgiving plans with the Azalea Inn, and leave the hard work to us!
Get in the Holiday Spirit during Your Savannah Thanksgiving
Take this Thanksgiving off and enjoy all that Savannah has to offer, with mild temperatures, beautiful scenery, and a few events to kick off the holiday season. Watch the Boat Parade of Lights in the Savannah Harbor, featuring live entertainment and a fireworks show. If you like musicals, catch a viewing of “A Christmas Tradition” at the Savannah Theater, or do a little holiday shopping on Broughton Street. There is so much to do when you plan a Savannah Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving at the Azalea Inn
Make your Thanksgiving plans this year with Azalea Inn and enjoy the wonderful menu we have put together, featuring savory and fresh ingredients that we carefully chose to create a memorable, and of course, delicious meal.
The evening begins with Ginger and Brie Tartlets, Smoke Salmon and Cucumber Squares, as well as Assorted Fruits, Cheeses, and Crackers. But don’t get too full on these appetizers- you still have three courses and dessert to go! Read on to find out what else is on the menu!
Our first course will feature a velvety Butternut Squash Soup with Spiced Candied Pecans and Blue Cheese Crumbles. The perfect start to our Thanksgiving meal!
Next you will enjoy Crisp Field Greens with Glazed Pecans, Goat Cheese, Dried Cranberries with a Dijon Vinaigrette… how divine does that sound?
The main course features the Traditional Roasted Turkey with Pan Gravy, Glazed Ham, Three Cheese Scalloped Potatoes, Sage Sausage Dressing, and Haricot Verts with Orange-Rosemary Gremolata. A true Thanksgiving feast with gourmet flare!
And of course, what meal would be complete without dessert? Be sure to save room for our creamy Pumpkin Cheesecake and sinful Chocolate Walnut Tweed Torte, the finale to this scrumptious Savannah Thanksgiving!
But Wait! There is More!
We are so excited to have our Sommelier, Adam Dean, pair wines for our Thanksgiving feast! His pairings will put the “Cherry on the Sundae” for sure. The wines featured will be available for purchase by the bottle or the glass. We are also offering a flight of paired wines for those who want to sip just a bit of everything.
