November 30, 2015 by Teresa Jacobson

Holiday Tour of Homes

October 27, 2013 by Teresa Jacobson

Holiday Tour of HomesSavannah’s Annual Holiday Tour of Homes is YOUR chance to get a peek inside some of the most fabulous houses that grace our beautiful city. They’re all decorated for the holidays, too. This year, the 39th Annual Holiday Tour of Homes will take place on Saturday, December 14 (2013).

How to Attend

You can purchase tickets for Savannah’s Annual Holiday Tour of Homes in advance after you’ve decided to indulge yourself in a much-needed vacation in Savannah. As far as deciding specifics, there are two home tours, each giving you the insiders look at 6 homes each, or 12 homes and another historic building where the option of indulging in Victorian tea is yours for the taking if you want it all.

12 Beautiful Homes….

You and yours can make a day of the Holiday Tour of Homes in Savannah. Trolleys to and from each home are included in your ticket price. There is an afternoon tour from 12-3pm and an evening tour from 5-8. 6 homes will be shown at each tour, with no repeats. That means, 12 homes total! $35 each or both tours for $90 including the Victorian Tea.

…And Victorian Tea, Oh My!

When you visit Savannah on December 14, you can even splurge on a Victorian Tea at the John Williams Townhouse at  3 or 4pm – you choose. Just $25 gets you into the historic building where fashion-forward Savannians nod to the opulence and frivolous frocks of days long past as they serve you tea and light refreshments. Think of the new profile pics and bragging rights! WOW. We’re telling you, this is an EVENT.

The Holiday Tour of Homes was created by Savannah’s Downtown Neighborhood Association (DNA) to give locals and visitors alike a glimpse into how families live and decorate in their own styles within a historic home. Last year, the organizers kept saying that Savannah delights in making a big fuss over her guests – and in all the best ways, that is SO TRUE.
