What Is Savannah Craft Brew Fest Like?

On Saturday, August 31, 2013 from 1-5pm you can hang out on the banks of the Savannah River as you sample craft beers from around the country with friends and strangers (who will just become new friends anyway!).

This is the 6th year the Craft Brew Fest has been up and running. Attendees number upwards of 5,000 – so you know they’ve got to be doing something right!

Where Else Can I Drink Craft Beer in Savannah?

If you think the Craft Brew Fest sounds AMAZING, you might want to start planning your trip to Savannah NOW! There are some great spots in town to enjoy craft beer. Here are a few.

  • Southbound Brewing Co. is the first production microbrewery to open in Savannah, and we’re so proud of our local brewery!
  • If you want the largest selection of craft beer, check out the 2 story bar at the intersection of Broughton and Whitaker (located on the North side of Broughton at 112 W. Broughton Street) – World of Beer.
  • For a more intimate craft beer tasting experience, check out The Distillery. For you history buffs, the building was erected in 1904 as a as a bonafide distillery. With 21 craft beers on tap, and 99 bottles, The Distillery at 416 W. Liberty Street is definitely the right choice for your Labor Day weekend in Savannah!
