Here is an update to the beautiful email above:

Dear Teresa,

Thank you for your very kind response to my letter. It is a beautiful and welcomed greeting first thing in the morning. I am having my "cafe con leche" (cafe au lait) at the office, still thinking of Azalea, especially the breakfast hour that we so much enjoyed amongst your wonderful guests and absolutely delicious morning meals. I've just realized that I did forget to thank Joey, he was always greeting us at the door and walking back with us to the garden, almost as if being protective. I'd like to think that he was protecting my Mami as she made her way through the foyer.

We will return to your lovely home. We have told our brother and his wife that they must plan a visit to Savannah and to the Azalea. They both love gardens and staying at Inns so I hope they will soon visit you. Here at my school, I am raving about my stay in Savannah and I hope to send some more Miamians your way.

Again thank you and please say hello to everyone. We miss you! I hope everything is progressing well with the garden that you are planting at your house.

Hasta pronto! (in Spanish this means "see you very soon") Ana
